On November 15, the Management Board had a field meeting. At the meeting, they summarized the results of 2018, which the Governor of the Rostov Region declared the year of kids’ sports.
During the 9 months, over 12,500 events for kids, teenagers and young adults involving over 500,000 people took place in the region. Over 20 regional football tournaments were held for kids and young adults, more than 23,000 children took part in them.
In 2018, street football competitions were revived for kids of 10 to 16 years old, nearly 15,000 kids participated in them.
In 2018, the universal chess training project reached 34,300 elementary and high school children attending 1,720 school chess clubs.
At the session, the following issues were also reviewed: progress of the regional targeted program of relocating residents from apartment buildings recognized as being in disrepair after January 1, 2012 delivered by local self-government authorities of the Rostov region for a period of 2017-2030, implementation of effective projects of lean management.
