On the Agriculture and Processing Industry Workers’ Day, the progress of industrial agriculture in 2018 was summed up.
A. Dubina, Deputy Head of the Administration Office of the district, Head of Agriculture Department, stressed that, despite the drought, farmers had managed to reach average grain yields of 38.3 centners per hectare, average sunflower yields of 24 centners per hectare. Also, 343,000 tons of grain crops and 66,000 tons of oil crops were grown and harvested in severe weather conditions.
In 2018, the district’s enterprises received the following awards: gold medals at the Golden Autumn All-Russian Exhibition in Moscow and the quality certification mark Made in the Don Region (Kolkhoz Sovetinsky Closed Joint Stock Company), a diploma from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Supplies of the region for the 1st prize in the regional competition for active participation in fairs (Chekhov Ltd) and others. Russky Bereg company won the first prize in the regional competition as the best fish processing company of the Rostov region.
27 professionals got diplomas of the Head of the Administration Office of the district as the best in profession in 2018. The head of 50 let Oktyabrya agricultural production cooperative got the title of the best worker in the regional industrial agriculture.
N. A. Prokopenko, Head of Priazoviye collective farm and agricultural production cooperative, received a badge of honor for merit to the Neklinovsky district.
V. Danilenko, Head of the Administration Office of the district, V. Grebenyuk, S. Polulyashnaya, A. Sobolevsky, V. Khabarov and V. Polyakova expressed their congratulations to agricultural workers.
